Cask Collective No. 1 - Brick Top with Chiles

Join us for the first ever Cask Collective event at 4th Tap. This series will be cask-conditioned batches curated by the 4th Tap team. We are numbering each batch so you can keep track of ones you've tried! Join us for No.1 this Friday 2/3 at 5pm!

Brick Top Robust Porter + Chiles
Brick Top has been aged with a mixture of dried chiles, bringing a gorgeous and robust peppery aspect to this already-robust porter. Not too spicy, but very savory. As with all our "real ale" firkins, this is a gravity-dispensed ale with lower carbonation for a more expressive sensory experience.

REVEL believes that music is essential to our lives. Our passion is presenting chamber music concerts that move, delight, and inspire—we call them revels. This means the focus is on sharing and celebrating fantastic music, not on protocol. This means you can come as you are, clap when you feel like it, and revel in the music like no one is watching.

We’re not sure who invented the rule that you have to sit up straight in prim rows, formal clothing, and complete silence to hear classical music. But it doesn’t apply here.

Beer Release Party! - Highland Scoundrel

  • 4th Tap Brewing Cooperative

It's back! -- and better than ever.

The Highland Scoundrel is our scotch-style ale coming in at an impressive 12% ABV.
We brought Scottish peat moss in and used (ruined) our friend's smoker peating our own malt. A subtle peat character works well in this monster of a scotch-style ale.

Kilt Recommended.

We are excited to announce that Ed Miller will be here to kick off the Scottish pub-party-sing-a-long starting at 6pm!
Ed hosts the Celtic radio show: Across the Pond on Austin's 100.1 Sun Radio every Sunday from 6pm-8pm.

So, wear your kilt and get ready to sing and swing a glass of Highland Scoundrel with us! Cheers!

Revel Unclassified

  • 4th Tap Brewing Coop

REVEL Unclassified is a new arts-infused Sunday brunch presented by REVEL, KMFA 89.5, and 4th Tap Brewing Co-Op. Musicians, writers, and artists collaborate to tell stories through music, spoken word, and visual art. Food trucks and craft beer round out the experience.

Our first 22-event installment (January-June) draws inspiration from the mythology, lore, and symbolism of the 22 Major Arcana cards in a tarot deck, bringing the Hero's (or Fool's) Journey to life in a whole new way.

This Week: GENIUS IS LIKE A WHEEL (The Fool)
Musicians: The Zenith Quintet (Rami El-Farrah, Sunil Gadgil, Michael Hertel, Spencer Nielsen: Saxophones; Carla McElhaney: Piano)
Poet: Nathan Brown
Guest Composer: Andrew Boss
Food Truck: Texas Chili Queens

Program:
Marc Mellits: Selected movements from Fruity Pebbles (2006)
David DeBoor Canfield: Selected movements from Quintette nach Schumann (2013)

The Brown Alumni Club of Austin Presents: The Brown Derbies at 4th Tap Brewing Co-Op!

"Founded in 1982, The Brown Derbies of Brown University have since become one of the most well-known collegiate a cappella groups in the country. Their repertoire spans a variety of different genres, ranging from Rock to Barbershop to R&B to Pop, and they always feature incredible harmony and humor.

Since their founding, The Derbies have released 12 studio albums. While the Derbies have a long tradition of on-campus performance, they also go on annual domestic and international tours, recently having visited Beijing, Shanghai, London, Amsterdam, Belgium, Paris, Cancun, L.A., Las Vegas, and San Francisco. The Derbies can be found performing at weddings, other colleges, and even the White House (where in 1997, the Derbies were honored to sing for President Bill Clinton!). In more recent years, the Derbies have made it to the semifinals of the International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella, and performed in the London A Cappella Festival with some of the finest a cappella groups across the pond!

Over the years the Derbies have experienced many changes in repertoire and style, but certain things have always remained true. All Derbies sport the signature vest and bowler derby, can sing up a storm, and will do it with charm sure to please the crowd."

Party World Rasslin' Presents: Winter Wonder Slam III

The bell-tines of the WINTERSONG call out, cutting a steely clarion through the night. SLAMTA CLAUS sits perched on an oaken throne, intoning the notes like razor-sharp, errant snowflakes. His hand extends out. His finger points. But not at you...it points...DOWN? He is pointing to a huge hole in the ground - the ingress to THE ICY LAIR!

In the true Wintermas spirit, PWR is proud to announce a FOOD DRIVE benefiting SAFE Austin -- bring non-persihable food and donate it to recieve a special Art Card! Acceptable food donations can be found here:
